
Dr. Erin Emmans grew up in Colorado and New Jersey surrounded by her family's horses, dogs and cats. She began riding horses at the age of three and always aspired to become a veterinarian.
Dr. Erin graduated from the University of Maine and and received her Veterinary Medicine Doctorate Degree from Atlantic Veterinary College in Prince Edward Island, Canada, where she studied large and small animal medicine.
After her graduation from veterinary college, Dr. Erin worked for Dr. Gary Shelton, in his mixed, large and small animal practice, in Elkton, Florida, for six years.
Dr. Erin has since opened her own large and small animal practice, Atlantic Veterinary Hospital, at 11633 Philips Highway, in Jacksonville, FL (904-738-8391).
Dr. Erin lives on a small farm with her rescue horses, dogs and cats. It is her passion to help homeless animals and match them with loving, forever homes.
